I believe intelligence is greatly influenced by nature and nurture. Nature includes genetics, cognitive traits and hereditary components.Each of us inherit a unique set of genes from our parents. Nurture includes environmental factors, experiences from childhood, education, social functions and status. Nature provides a foundation but the external environment sharpens our intellectual ability.
