B.F. Skinner

B.F. Skinner, a prominent behaviorist, held the view that free will is an illusion and that behavior is primarily determined by external stimuli and reinforcement. According to Skinner, human behavior can be understood and predicted through the principles of operant conditioning. While individuals may perceive their actions as choices, Skinner argued that those choices are actually shaped by the consequences they experience.
