Abstract

In the same way that print technology produced a radical cultural change, information and communication technologies are now affecting culture. These everyday life technologies are significantly changing the way we work, the way we interact with others, and the way we live. Denying the validity of the new cultural practices produces the intergenerational cultural clash that is currently damaging our school systems. Information societies produce a new context for reading, causing the appearance of new formative possibilities related to emotional and hedonic cultural practices.
