Abstract

The paper highlights the humanitarian crises aftermath of the LRA war in Northern Uganda. The paper identifies general insecurity in the region as the main factor contributing to the unchecked human rights abuses characterised by violent crimes, internal disorder, abductions, killing, rape and most especially child sexual abuse. The paper suggests a tightening of the legal protection regime to safeguard the life and health of the female child.
