Abstract

Technology has expanded the classroom by providing opportunities for students to explore and problem solve. When combined with peer tutoring, technology can also enhance students’ mastery of content, and build their self esteem, as well as their interpersonal skills. Teachers’ application of this strategy is dependent on their perception of this pedagogical approach to technology instruction and integration. This study highlights and analyzes recurring themes in a group of teachers’ reported perceptions of using peer tutoring in technology instruction or integration.
