Abstract

This article explores the distinctions between project based learning, the key teaching philosophy for design based courses and problem based learning, and the innovative pedagogy implemented by the institution. This article also attempts to clarify the confusion that exists in literature regarding differences between the two approaches: project based learning and problem based learning. In the concluding section, this artcile attempts to critically analyse the issue of pedagogical innovation in the given context.
