Abstract

Information technology has virtually taken over every aspect of human activities. This led to the introduction of computer education in Nigerian Secondary Schools. The implementation of the programme becomes a problem in Nigeria because of its nature. This paper therefore tries to know the extent of the implementation of the programme. Two hypotheses were formulated and analysed using 60 students and 20 computer teachers for the study. It was revealed that computer education has not been well implemented due lack of facilities/equipment, etc. few recommendations were proffered.
