Abstract

In the 21st Century, university professors are teaching students who want immediate feedback as to their progress. Recent research (Chan, 2007) provides evidence that using multimedia, computer-based teaching methods in Art Appreciation and Art History courses promotes student engagement in the learning process. This workshop will introduce educators to uses of software programs such as BlackBoard and TurningPoint in conjunction with interactive technology like SmartBoard.
