Abstract

The quality of university teaching has been one of the main concerns in Education in recent years, and with it the quality of teachers. And whenever the topic of quality is raised, inevitably evaluation is also mentioned. Evaluation is a complex process, and perhaps even more so in the field of education, due to the many agents involved and the aspects that must be evaluated. This paper is based on the premise of evaluation as a way to improve, insofar as evaluation would involve personal awareness about how to give classes, and would entail a training process and would result in improvement (see De Miguel, 2003). Thus, this instrument could be useful for identifying the weaknesses of individual university teachers and, based on the results obtained, each would be able to propose specific training sessions to resolve any difficulties that were identified.
