Abstract

This study focuses on adult learners with specific learning styles preferences. This study provides in-depth information on the learning styles of adult learners participating in community development programs in Sabah. The findings from this study were: significant differences in 18 aspects of respondents’ learning preference style. These are noise level, temperature, design, motivation, persistent, responsible, structure, along/peers, authority figures, several ways, auditory, visual, kinesthetic, intake, time of day, late morning, afternoon and needs mobility; significant differences between male and female respondents in nine aspects of learning preferences. These are light, design, motivation, persistent, responsible, alone/peer, multiple ways, kinesthetic and needs mobility.
