Common Sense and The Olive Branch Petition

In Common sense by Thomas Paine expresses different sentiments from the "Olive Branch Petition". The "Olive Branch Petition" expresses a treaty between two countries. It was a way for colonists to declare their indepence from England. Unfornately for the colonists, the King kind of shrugged the offer off and this motivated colonist even more to seperate themselves from England. Common Sense was propaganda for the Revolutionary War and all feelings were to hype up colonists to support the war cause. The main grievance was the war because they could not settle the seperation with words. The war was expenisive on both fronts but eventually the Americans won the war.
