common sense
Thomas Paine the author of Common Sense rejected what wa sgien towards him because he knew if he accepted everything would be ruined. ALso he challenges what is put in the way and ses what makes sense . " I challenge the warmest advocate for reconciliation, to shew, a singleadvantage that this continent can reap, by being connected with Great Britain. I repeat the challenge, not a single advantage is derive. our corn will fetch it's price in any market in europe, and imported goods must be paid for buy them where we will"(paragraph 16). This expresses how Thomas Paine challenged britain in away and showed they will stay make profit some how and challenge them. " Europe is too thickly planted with kingdoms to be long at piece, and whenever a war breaks out between England and any foreign power, the trade of America goes to ruin, because o their connection with Britain" (paragraph 18). This shows how Thomas paine rejected britain or later on be affected.
I agree that Thomas Paine wrote Common Sense to express his point of view towards Britain's unfit laws that affected him and the colonists. I think the purpose of him writing Common Sense was to convince his readers to understand why he wants independence from Britain and hopefully that convinces the colonists to support his decision. Once a massive group of colonists agree to that idea of independence, they will be united because they all have the same goal. Otherwise, I think you should elaborate more, be specific, and type more context.
