I think that colonists were concerned because they weren'tgiven the rights as everyone else. The colonists suffered in some situations such as experienced taxes and all unequal laws made.Eventhough they were in a way being oppressed, so they resisted by boycotting, dropping tea etc. I think America would bann countries to do certain things, or would also make them help the government and pay for debt.
I think you should add more detail, Try to add what was the the award they were fighting for. Was there any rivalry? What was the glory prize that both sides wanted. Be more detailed.
