Boston Massacre

On March 5, 1770 an armed confrontation between bostonians that were throwing snowballs at English troops, leaving 5 dead. I feel that this concerned the colonists because it was one of the first times blood was shed between the english and the colonists. It created ideas that the English were ready to kill if the intolerable acts of the colonists kept going and the hate of some of the colonists grew after the Boston Massacre. The formation of the new American government would address this by making sure that the English troops who fired and the English government would be charged for their actions of killing innocent people.
