"A comprehensive analysis of personalized learning components" A study done by Atikah Shemshack,Kinshuk & Jonathan Michael Spector (2021)

Personalized learning happens when a teacher understands the fact that not all of their students are the same; they have different abilities, different interests and different style of learning. Once a teacher follows this principle in their teaching styles, they will find themselves using different activities and incorporating different strategies to tailor the targeted content to each student's abilities. As result, not only the class may be enjoyable and interested to each student, but also, this will have a positive impact on studentts' achievement.

Atikah Shemshack,Kinshuk & Jonathan Michael Spector (2021) has shed light on this matter in their study "A comprehensive analysis of personalized learning components, 2021". In the study, they give a definition for personalized learning as being "a learning approach that aims to personalize the learning experience according to the unique needs, goals, and skills of individuals which can be achieved by using current instructional technology that provides unique learning experiences in different learning environments". They also mention that "technology is the main component that will enable and enrich personalized learning experience".
