Project-based learning

Project-based learning is an instructional approach which uses real-world, hands-on projects to teach students about a subject. These projects are generally student-led, allowing students to collaborate and work independently on solving a problem. They provide a meaningful context for learning, as students are able to explore and apply information in an authentic way. With project-based learning, the emphasis is on developing the skills and knowledge of the students rather than on memorizing facts. This type of learning allows students to become independent creative thinkers and actively engage with and explore the concepts they are learning. Furthermore, this approach can enhance student motivation, as it makes the learning process more interesting, engaging and relevant
