Abstract

What is wonder? What is the astonishment in the anthropological way of thinking? The Author analyzes the fundamental question–What is the specific function of the relationship between anthropology and astonishment? And what exactly is astonishment itself? Anthropology is the apotheosis of the astonishment in culture. That was the first establishment and the beginning of anthropology. Lots of research from diaries, reminiscences and monographs has created incoherent textuality, which has been developed by astonishment.
