Abstract

Sexuality is fundamental for humanity, and is present in all stages of our lives. Assessing sexuality in young people allows professionals to act appropriately and rigorously, and to respond as accurately as possible to their demands and needs. The objective of this study is to validate a questionnaire on sexual-affective attitudes and practices in a sample made up of a total of 739 students from the University of Granada, with the aim of exploring and confirming an adjustable factorial structure. The resulting solution consists of a questionnaire made up of a total of sixteen items distributed across two dimensions. Based on the obtained results, we can confirm that the “Questionnaire on Sexual-Affective Attitudes and Practices in Young People” offers a structure with excellent internal consistency and construct validity, presenting a valid and reliable tool for analyzing the sexual attitudes and practices of young people.
