Abstract

Empowerment techniques have a significant impact upon the process of instruction and learning both for trainers and trainees. Personal developments through empowerment strategies have brought well known results of important resources teachers and students. The study aims to emphasize the importance of using empowerment techniques within education systems for students of all ages. In order to reach this objective there has been made a comparative study of learning strategies and a concluding interview study for validating data. In this respect, using meta-analysis statistical procedures there have been discussed results of studies on co-operative learning strategies and empowerment techniques. The results of the meta-analysis interpretation have been completed with interpretation of data regarding teachers’ self efficacy perceptions, attitudes and values. The sample of this study consists of trainees preparing to become teachers that agreed to complete the questionnaires. The expected final data present a comprehensive picture of the positive role of personal development through empowerment strategies for teachers and the impact of these learning on students.
