Abstract

The urban space is the virtual expression of the urban design and landscape settings. The reciprocal relationship between urban spaces and landscape design affect the virtual image of the city and the urban community actions, on the other hand the landscape settings are affected by the components of the urban spaces and their opportunities. The research and analysis of theory on urban space and its various components and its effects on the landscape settings are seen in Contemporary Studies. Human behaviour and activities represent one of the basic entities that affect the quality of the landscape setting in the space, and also can play a great role to ensure the proposed landscape patterns and approaches. Although, considering the role of social activity in the space is of a great importance to ensure its appropriate usage and performance. This research describes a theoretical background of urban space classification and its components to investigate the phenomenon of the users’ behaviours in the space and their relationship with the landscape throughout the study of their interrelations. A well-designed landscape influences the behaviours and social activities of the users in the local community that are in contact with this landscape project.
