Abstract

In approaching the research topic of the use of technology in learning, it is important to remember that technology itself is not our educational goal. Our aim is to apply it to improve learning. Within this realm, this paper evaluates two research studies about the use and effect of technology in learning, in order to show that the personal orientation of researchers may affect the selection of a specific research paradigm with a set of borders, criteria, relations and methodologies involved.
