Abstract

A project designed to create connections of teaching and learning for remote rural schools with city based colleagues, staff and students. Through, with and by the use of generative technologies, the TLC³ project facilitated staff development (professional development), student and staff connections (email buddies), virtual communication and on site visits country and city. This practice focus paper is about an innovative partnership that created mutual benefits for all partners through a multilayered approach designed to facilitate shared collaborations and a broader understanding of the diverse lifeworlds of country and city participants.
