Abstract

Since the early days of the Ku Klux Klan, when women were not allowed membership into the organization and were relegated to subservient roles such as ladies auxiliaries, women activists have been a minority in the white supremacy movement. In today’s world, the role of women has dramatically increased and many women have taken on prominent roles even starting their own groups, such as the Women for Aryan Unity. This article explores the evolution of women and presents an overview of their role in the white supremacy movement.
