The Information Technology Organizational Culture and Its Eff ...
Abstract
This research aims to determine whether companies in Saudi Arabia have implemented 'successful' computerized information systems and are employing 'good practice,' in terms of ensuring that their information systems have an impact upon their stakeholders, in particular on decision makers. This paper discusses the general state of Saudi corporate culture adoption and information technology in the business environment. A questionnaire was distributed to a large sample of private and public sector companies, of which 454 completed and returned their responses. The findings show that there is a relationship between IT corporate culture and users and confirm the hypotheses of the effect of IT Organizational culture on user’s satisfaction, motivation, and performance. The results also show that globalization has reduced the digital divide between developing and the developed nations
