Abstract

The research aims at probing the influence of employee engagement on the knowledge management process. Various dimensions of both employee engagement and knowledge management are considered for testing their relationship. A structured questionnaire is used to elicit opinions and comprehend knowledge management processes and the degree of employee engagement in select organizations. The data is analyzed to determine the intermediating effect of employee engagement in the success of knowledge management practices. A model is used to hypothesize these relationship and it is the framework for this empirical research. Suggestions for improving effectiveness of KM practices and scope for future research are presented.
