Abstract

The purpose of present study was to test seven hypotheses regarding to impact of the person-organization fit degree on job satisfaction and intent to exit of employees of social security branches in Shiraz (Iran). Therefore, the survey research method has been used by closed questionnaire to investigate of relationship type between research variables. The population is 500 people included all of the full time employees of social security branches in Shiraz. Further, based on pilot study and using stratified sampling method, 205 people elected as sample. Results indicate that the impact of person-organization fit variables on job satisfaction and intent to exit, with 95% confidence level, statistically is significant. Finally, In terms of the impact of the P-O fit on job satisfaction and intent to exit, the results indicate that the degree of fit plays an important role in social security branches( organization). The results indicate that the P-O fit is an important variable within the (organizations) to predict the job satisfaction and intent to exit of employees.
