Abstract
The paper explores the implications of the gender-neutral approach of the Canadian military. We suggest that this approach, rather than mitigating the problem, may be impeding the meaningful integration of women into the military. The presentation/paper provides an overview of relevant concepts, such as the gendered organization, equality and equity and presents some of the unique challenges facing women in the Canadian Forces as well as discusses the implications of a gender-neutral military.
