Abstract
Student retention is among the most prominent and vexing challenges for academia. While some attrition is unavoidable due to causes such as change of heart and inability to handle the material, other reasons, including loss of interest, lack of support, and poor study habits can be addressed. Herein, a method of providing incentives to students to follow a proactive, design-based approach will be described, with supportive preliminary data presented.
