Abstract

In this paper I will try to establish a definition of Aboriginal bicultural education, based on the thought that there has to be a cultural basis for any kind of education. This would mean that the basis for Indian education still has to be First Nation culture(s) despite the bicultural contents taught, and it has to be developed and designed by First Nation people. What then is First Nation bicultural education and how can education be defined as both First Nation and bicultural?
