Abstract

The purpose of the study is to investigate the prerequisites for the emergence of new types of top management in the business environment and to monitor the process of transformation of top management personnel caused by the transition from a planned economy to a market economy. The methodological basis of the study is methods of system analysis in the field of management activities within the business environment, using modeling elements that allow a comprehensive investigation of the need for transformation of top management personnel in the context of a transitional economy. The study results consist of identifying the conditions and prerequisites for the transformation of top management personnel in the business environment. In the course of the research, the typology of managers was analyzed and systematized. An effective model for the process of transforming and improving the personnel of the enterprise management system was identified. This model highlights the necessity for a continuous process of enhancing the qualifications of top management personnel. Continuous transformation and adaptation are essential due to rapidly evolving market conditions. These conditions are influenced by various global economic processes, technological advancements, and political, demographic, and environmental factors. The results of the study and the conclusions formulated on their basis give grounds for finding the optimal types of top management personnel in the business environment, which are the key to maintaining highly effective management within the enterprise, considering the process of transition from a planned to a market economy.
