Abstract

The purpose o this study is to follow up on an earlier study of assessing Information Technology students’ attitude toward ethical behaviour. The early study compared students to the general public attitudes toward ethical behaviour. This study compares students’ attitude before an ethics program was implemented at the Eastern Michigan University College of Business to students’ attitude after the program was implemented. The study shows that the ethics program has a profound influence on students’ attitude toward ethical behaviour. This enforces the idea that education is an effective method for affecting a positive change in ethical behaviour.
