Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the significant learning potential of the DRDL program at Hanyang University, Rep. of Korea (South Korea), especially as it relates to media literacy. The CTL can approach a course in three ways and produce positive results. Media literacy refers to the ability to read and write data and information in many different systemic contexts. Therefore, the university considers media literacy an important competency for university students to create new knowledge (K Livingston & R Condie., 2006; SH Park & S Kwon., 2008). To find a solution to these needs, we designed a sample learning program called, “Do Run Do Learn” (DRDL) for university students. The DRDL’s main topic was media literacy. In this study, we evaluated DRDL to explore its capabilities as an attractive program for students, including its relevance to learning, its ability to give students confidence in media literacy and its satisfaction after learning. This is a great way to grow excellence individually, academically, and as a group.
