Abstract

In this article, we propose a series of strategies and guidelines for the design of educational research based on the method of systematic review of the literature. In recent decades, this type of research has taken on a relevant role in the field of educational sciences. These reviews make it possible to capture the research of greatest impact and prestige in a synthetic and substantial manner. Based on this work, we present different guides and methodological design schemes that allow future researchers to guide their systematic reviews with rigorous criteria of validity and scientificity. An evaluation of the different phases involved in the elaboration of systematic reviews is carried out, and the limitations and strengths of this method are also explained.
