Abstract

The economic, political, scientific and technological development of any nation is determined by the nation’s education system. This implies that education is the harbinger of economic, political, social and technological development. Thus, for education to be the life-wire and generator of progress in any society the education system, as well as educational aims and objectives must be properly channeled and well executed. Since the government alone cannot adequately finance education and provide all its needs, there is need to harness the potentials of all the stakeholders in the development of the Nigerian educational system.
