Abstract

Following the production of two urban sound prosthesis, I reflect on how urban space is lived and heard, and try to point out the infinity of ways to reinvent our everyday urban experience. It is a research based on the interaction between exterior environment and human body and how they influence each other. The encounter between them provokes a clash that spawns new vibrations in space as a whole and insert new spaces, not yet shaped, not yet imagined. Another accent in my presentation is the notion of continuous movement inside the corpus of the world as we know it, a constant circulation that allows the transmission of code, information, memory, etc., between the multiplicity of bodies inhabiting it – human and mechanical , urban and natural, physical and imaginary. This perpetual motion introduces the possibility for objects and living creatures to let go of their fixed identity and to rush in a game where everything can be exchanged and rebuilt in an infinity of new forms. I am interested in finding how to use art experiences in order to reflect on this subjects and share my research with other artists and the audience.
