Abstract

Conflict is an antagonism or a contest of opposing forces within the collaborative evaluation. Also, a decision is a choice or judgment made as a reaction to a specific problem. It is important to deal with conflict and decision-making procedures in an open way, in order to work together to identify the source of the problem and appropriately solve it. The goal should be to keep the focus of everyone on the unified vision of the collaborative evaluation, and to always strive to turn any situation into a win-win situation as a part of reconciling differences among individuals. By understanding the procedures that will be routinely used to make decisions, unnecessary conflict is minimized when a problem arises. Thus, everyone involved in the collaborative evaluation should focus their attention on these procedures in order to understand how to define the problem in terms of all the possible ways to solve it.
