Abstract
Psychological theories have neglected cultural factors for far too long. Many psychological theories fail to explain that thinking, feeling and behaving are very much the products of socialisation processes. Considering that many inter-cultural conflicts result from misunderstanding of intent and expectation of opponents, understanding why different intentions and expectations may occur seems indispensable.
