Abstract

Conflict is an inevitable part of human nature. The existence of conflict in human relationships and its resolution often spell the difference between success and failure, concerning how the relationship will proceed. Add to this situation the effect culture may have on the process of conflict resolution. What similarities or differences might exist in how conflict is resolved using a cross-cultural analysis? This cross-cultural analysis, then, will attempt to focus on the important topic of communication conflict and the way people attempt to resolve it in China and the United States.
