Abstract
Within the context of community-based art making, this presentation will explore the relationship between the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt and other community-based art. Work by Judith Baca, Suzanne Lacy, Tim Rollins and others will be considered, as the similarities and differences are explored.
