Abstract

What is one’s experience as one passes through the gate of “Imagine?” What is it that one encounters? What does one see? Wondering how students could represent the sun as a facet of expressing the elements, and understanding the import of, Plato’s Allegory of the Cave, an image of their gathering together so as to wonder for themselves brought forth a response in the form of a series of human tableaus. Plato’s imaginative narrative, punctuated by drawings, emerges as a constellation of living thought forms arising before his listener’s awareness, so, that coupled with the narrative presented as a series of stage directions, it becomes a vision of the human condition for the audience of the theater.
