Abstract

This study is based on an analysis of an associative model from a gender equity perspective in the post-conflict process in the municipality of La Macarena, Colombia. Its main objective was to analyze the socioeconomic perspectives, particularly the contribution of and equity for women in the processes of change and technical accompaniment, financing, competitiveness, and economic development in order to guarantee a lasting peace process. The methodology used was participatory action research, in which it is possible to involve the work team and the stakeholders, with diagnostic instruments applied to different actors in the municipality. Based on this information, the associative model is analyzed with a gender focus. As main results, an organizational diagnostic chart and an investigation of different sources were developed. Finally, the analysis of the associative model for the municipality was focused on improving the competitiveness of factors such as technical efficiency, access to national markets, as well as greater gender inclusion. The study is consolidated as an alternative proposal for communities from an associative model economy with a gender focus.
