Abstract

By comparing the Ukrainian National Chernobyl Museum and the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum the article examines how they are fulfilling their role as atomic museums. Through this process the article examines the future role of atomic museums in the post-Fukushima context and considers the aspect of time in the two museums in relation to the nuclear anthropocene.
