I think that the Intolerable Acts was the most major cause in the occurring of the Revolutionary War. Colonists generally felt that all of the rights that they had were being taken away. People’s positions in local governments were being taken away unrightfully. People were also forced lodge soldiers within the confinements of their homes. I believe that this truly angered colonists and generally made them afraid for what else the government could do. I believe that the formation of a new American government would respect its citizens privacy and give them the decision on whether or not, they want to lodge soldiers within their homes.
