The Tea Act

The colonists were concerned about the taxation on tea becasue tea was the everyday drink every person drank during that time. Many colonists thought it was outrageous for them to pay more on tea. So, colonists went on the shipments of tea, and threw 300 boxes of tea into the water. I think the formation of a new American government might address such an issue, becasue colonists are used to paying one amount of money towards a drink. But now that the price is increasing, they think it is not right.
