  Over the past 35yrs I devoted to the study of the ecology under the ecosystem approach. I´ve many researchers in freshwater wetland ecology and conservation. Many of my investigations were focused in how to mitage human impacts in natural protected areas and in emblematic landscapes. As management must be agreed with local communities a large part of my work is social, in order to understand relationships between people and their environment, their need and how they use to solve them. Through integrative processes, we work together on holistic strategies to manage their natural landscape,to improve their level and quality of life.
