I really enjoyed reading the article for this week. The story of one of the most successful public health service campaigns and a brilliant effort to bring about change in childbirth practices in India was nothing short of inspiring for me. This made me realize that it does not have to be big inventions that can take the world on its heels, but just simple solutions to widespread problems can be just as effective. I think this lecture helped me in setting up a mindset where I can now see myslef making an emotional connection with my audience and just try to understand their problems, which will help me in synthesizing my final project.
