Lindsay Parks Pieper is an Associate Professor of Sport Management at the University of Lynchburg. She holds a Ph.D. in Sport Humanities and a Masters of Arts in Women’s History from the Ohio State University. Her main research areas are women’s sport history, gender and sport, and Olympic history.

Jörg Krieger is Associate Professor at the Department of Public Health at Aarhus University. He also holds an Associate Professor position at the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, Lillehammer Campus. His main research areas are Olympic history, sport politics, and athletes’ representation in elite sport.
