Dear Learning by Design Authors,

We are in the process of closing down our old CGLearner/Learning by Design platform, and moving all content to our new platform, Scholar. As part of this process, we have moved your old account to Scholar. We are also moving across completed and published learning modules. You may have already received a notification about this, or you may soon.

At the end of this update, you will find some advice and instructions about next steps, to update your Scholar account, to refine and revise your learning modules, and to use Scholar with your students.

We would like to take to opportunity to thank you for using Learning by Design as your instructional framework. During the last 5 years many hundreds of authors have developed learning modules of extraordinary educational quality. We treasure this resource and we invite you to follow us into Scholar to extend these processes of collaborative professional learning. For more information about Scholar, take this link. INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW SCHOLAR USERS

1. Take the following link or paste into your browser to create your password: https://cgscholar.com/identity/users/password/new?email=
2. Visit the Community app in Scholar to create profile information about yourself using the pull-down menu behind your name. To learn more about how to do this, see sections 1 and 2 in the Help area in the top right of the Scholar screen.
3. Visit the Creator app to revise your learning module. In the Toolbar on the right side, open your learning module in "Works". Then open the Structure Tool in "About this Work" to see all of the sections of the learning module. For more information, visit Sections 3 and 5 of the Help area.
4. For English language learning modules, Rita van Haren and Sachin Chaudhary are temporary co-authors, and for Greek language learning modules, Eugenia Arvanitis and Sachin Chaudhary are temporary co-authors. Rita and Eugenia can assist you with any editing you may wish to do. You can remove them any time you feel comfortable. Please email Eugenia <earvanitis@upatras.gr> or <rita.van.haren@cgscholar.com> for support.
5. As soon as it is ready, your learning module will be published to the Scholar Bookstore, as well as the Learning by Design community. Please email Rita (English language) or Eugenia (Greek.)

Αγαπητοί Συγγραφείς,

Είμαστε στη διαδικασία να κλείσουμε την πλατφόρμα CGLearner / Μάθηση μέσω Σχεδιασμού, και μετακινούμε όλο το περιεχόμενο στη νέα μας πλατφόρμα, το Scholar. Ως μέρος αυτής της διαδικασίας, έχουμε μεταφέρει τον παλιό σας λογαριασμό στο Scholar. Επίσης, μεταφέρουμε στο Scholar, καθώς και όλες τις ολοκληρωμένες και δημοσιευμένες μαθησιακές ενότητες. Μπορεί να έχετε ήδη λάβει ειδοποίηση γι’ αυτό, ή θα την λάβετε σύντομα.

Στο τέλος αυτής της ενημερωτικής επιστολής, θα βρείτε μερικές συμβουλές και οδηγίες σχετικά με τα επόμενα βήματα, ώστε να ενημερώσετε το λογαριασμό σας στο Scholar,να βελτιώσετε / αναθεωρήσετε τις μαθησιακές σας ενότητες και να χρησιμοποιήσετε το Scholar με τους μαθητές σας.

ΟΔΗΓΙΕΣ ΓΙΑ ΝΕΟΥΣ ΧΡΗΣΤΕΣ SCHOLAR

1. Μέσω του παρακάτω συνδέσμου δημιουργήστε τον κωδικό σας: https://cgscholar.com/identity/users/password/new?email=
2. Επισκεφθείτε την εφαρμογή Κοινότητα (Community) στο Scholar για να δημιουργήσετε το προφίλ σας και να δώσετε πληροφορίες για τον εαυτό σας χρησιμοποιώντας το πτυσσόμενο μενού πίσω από το όνομά σας. Για να μάθετε περισσότερα για το πώς να το κάνετε αυτό, δείτε τις ενότητες 1 και 2 στην περιοχή Βοήθεια στο επάνω αριστερό μέρος της οθόνης του Scholar.
3. Επισκεφθείτε την εφαρμογή Δημιουργός (Creator) να αναθεωρήσετε την μαθησιακή σας ενότητα. Για περισσότερες πληροφορίες, επισκεφθείτε τις ενότητες 3 και 5 στη Βοήθεια.
4. Για τις μαθησιακές ενότητες στην αγγλική γλώσσα, η Rita van Haren είναι προσωρινή συν-συγγραφέας, και για τις μαθησιακές ενότητες στην ελληνική γλώσσα, προσωρινή συν-συγγραφέας είναι η Ευγενία Αρβανίτη. Η Ρίτα και η Ευγενία θα σας βοηθήσουν στην επιμέλεια των ενοτήτων σας εφόσον χρειάζεστε βοήθεια. Μπορείτε να αφαιρέσετε τα ονόματά τους οποιαδήποτε στιγμή αισθάνεστε άνετα με το χώρο εργασίας του Scholar.
