Optional Update #3 - Voice interface as home teacher

Here in Brazil, we see a lot of startups using voice interface and AI trying to create some solutions to help students to improve their performance at school. I think this approach is perfect, but, I believe we should focus on developing solutions that could work as home teachers and bring a better experience to homework.

AI is a compelling technology that can learn and adapt to its user, and it means that AI can be trained to discover the student's issues and provide better assistance to students.

Amazon Alexa has been used by Lancaster University from the United Kingdom as digital buddies of students, see below a video of this project. Also, Lancaster University is one of the first UK universities to offer a voice and chatbot interface.

This project covers a wide range of interactions relating to student life, welfare, academic studies, and more.

They developed a cross-discipline, multi-skilled team, including students using chatbot and voice interface. They also used AWS Cloud to get agility and scalability.
