Active Knowledge Building vs Ubiquitous Learning

Active Knowledge Building:

I find Active Knowledge Building to be a more feasible affordance to meet. As long as I make sure to address any constraints my lesson might have before rolling out the lesson. I can predict the chance of its overall success. Since, I have greater control over my environment (aka home team advantage) then this affordance seems easier for me to meet. Conversely, I have less control over a ubiquitous learning initiative, since I have little control over the actual learning environment. This doesn't mean I value one affordance over the other, I just feel it would be easier to implement "active knowledge building" iniative faster.
